Walid EL Azab
Industrial pharmacist –Qualified Person
Walid El Azab is an Industrial pharmacist, a Qualified Person and Lean Six Sigma green belt. He is a Technical Services Manager for STERIS Life Sciences. He provides technical support related to cleaning, disinfectants, sterility assurance and process validation.
He is an active member of the PDA, ISPE, ECA, and A3P with numerous published articles and book chapters on contamination control. He is also active with the A3P GIC working group on sterilization, and he leads the UPIP-VAPI EU GMP Annex 1 (guidance for sterile manufacturing) working group, and he is also part of the ECA task force regarding the revision of the EU GMP Annex 1. He is a planning committee member of the Annual PDA Conference on Pharmaceutical Microbiology (12th and 13th) and biomanufacturing. He is also an Editorial Committee Member of the PDA Letter. Finally, Walid is an observer member of the ISPE Belgium affiliate board and Secretary of the Belgium Qualified Person (UPIP-VAPI) association.
Hasim Solmaz is Chariman of Cleanroom Technologies Society of Turkey and General Manager of Lighthouse Worldwide Solutions EMEA Operations.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree with high honors in Atmospheric Science and Meteorological Engineering from Istanbul Technical University.
Hasim’s focus is on cleanroom design and management concepts, environmental monitoring systems, pharmaceutical manifacturing and regulatory concerns.
He has been working with several international companies in pharmaceutilcas, electronics and aerospace industries to help them reach their goals and increase their qualty and yield in their cleanrooms as per international regulations.
Jean-François Teneul is Global Life Sciences Market Leader for Personal Protection at DuPont de Nemours. His current role is to bring innovative cleanroom clothing solutions to ensure a safe manufacturing environment and to reduce the risk of contamination in Controlled Environments.
He is experienced in Infection & Contamination Control and in Safety & Protection. Jean-François started life in Health Care and Medical Devices industry and moved to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for protective clothing.
Jean-François served as chairman in EDANA (European Disposables & Nonwovens Association) for the MEDECO group and is Six Sigma Black Belt certified. He lives at Luxembourg and travels all over the world.

Keith is a chartered engineer and chartered energy manager with over 18 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry in roles including laboratory facilities management, engineering maintenance and manufacturing. For 6 years, Keith led energy, waste and water sustainability improvements for Eli Lilly & Company Limited in the UK, consulting on and facilitating improvement projects globally as a key member of the Lilly global energy reduction team. In 2013, Keith joined EECO2, a global energy efficiency consultancy with a specialism in laboratory and pharmaceutical cleanroom HVAC energy reduction. He and his team use their deep technical expertise to help clients such as GSK, Astra Zeneca, Pfizer, Lilly, Sanofi and others apply best practice and innovation to reduce energy cost and maintain or improve safety and quality compliance. As a leading practitioner in his field, Keith is also a member of ISPE’s global HVAC Sustainability Steering Group and ISO TC209 committee responsible for ISO14644 (Cleanrooms and associated controlled environments) contributing to the development of standards, training and code of practice guidelines in the discipline.
Marc is graduate of KIT (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology) and holds a Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering (Air Filtration & Particle Technology).
In his career he hold Management positions in Operations, Technical Marketing, Sales as well as Research & Development in filtration and nonwovens industry.
In his current position he is heading R&D of AAF (American Air Filter) in Europe.
His special interest is in containments and high purity environments.
He is ISPE member and regularly speaker in international conferences.

Biochemicus qua opleiding en vele jaren prospectie gedaan van medicatie en “medical devices” in ziekenhuizen.
5 jaar geleden bij Ecolab Contamination Control begonnen en verantwoordelijk gesteld voor Pharma klanten in de Benelux.
Ecolab heeft sinds 2 jaar een nieuwe divisie LIFE SCIENCES gecreëerd, die zich toespits op de klanten in de Farmaceutische en Cosmetische industrie.
Momenteel verzorg ik de wetenschappelijke ondersteuning en validatie begeleiding voor cleanroom biocides en alcoholen.
Ik help klanten met schoonmaak en desinfectie regimes. Door Biocides slim in te zetten kunnen we micro-organismen onder controle houden. Dit is natuurlijk maar 1 van de schakels in het grote geheel van “controle” in de cleanroom, maar voor de Pharma Industrie van groot belang gezien het een kritisch stap is in hun productie proces”
BCW is een onafhankelijke cleanroom vereniging met als doel, informatie verstrekken rond het bouwen en uitbaten van cleanrooms volgens nationale en internationale normen, standaarden en goede praktijken.
